I Like Bossa Nova is the first single off Midan's forthcoming album Letter To Brazil.

I like Bossa Nova. Midan likes Bossa Nova. The rhetorical follow-up question is: How can one not like Bossa Nova? On many occasions Bossa Nova is the most beautiful music in the world. Midan would probably agree, but he cannot be reached for a comment. The young producer, DJ and digger left Cologne three weeks ago. His farewell message came with a folder full of music, that prove his deep love for Bossa, Samba and MPB. Accompanied by his good friends FloFilz, Saib, Mr. Käfer and LESKY and with artwork by São Paolo-based illustrator André Cast.

Born and raised in Paris, the half German, half Algerian producer is one the most exciting new jacks on the German beatmaker scene. At the age of 23, Midan has already released a bunch of albums for renowned labels like Casual Low Grind, Mutombo Recods and Beat Jazz International.
