London’s rising singer-songwriter and producer, Reuben Aziz releases new single ‘Always Come Back’ ahead of deluxe version of recent project ‘how did we end up here’. Following the success of his recently viral On The Radar freestyle - which received co-signs from Zack Bia, Jammer and Reiss Nelson - the 21-year-old further emphasises the musical powers that lie within his pen. Inspired by his musical idols (Tyler, The Creator, Pharell), Reuben demonstrates his singing and rap abilities across a self-produced instrumental captured in his signature approach to DIY music-making. ‘Always Come Back’ peels back layers of Reuben’s personal life, complimented by his drive to push his creativity to the limit and further mark his consistency as an artist who’s always been unafraid to project his introspective thoughts.

“This track is one of the few Rap songs in my discography and I wanted people to make sure people knew what i'm capable of. All the music I grew up on was Rap but had intertwined melodies, whether 50 Cent or 2Pac. It was important to have a hook singing and rap my arse off as usual.”

Southampton-born, London-based Reuben Aziz is a self-taught vocalist and guitar player who began writing music at ten and producing at fourteen; it’s safe to say music was his first love. His Father has always had a significant impact on his appreciation for music. He cites Tupac, The Fugees, and DMX as his earliest inspirations before discovering the likes of Pharrell and Frank Ocean. He takes inspiration from his peers and life and is poised to reflect relatable feelings throughout his music. Since releasing his debut project ‘how did we end up here’ in September, Reuben Aziz has continued attracting momentum around his name. Having pivoted from a career as a professional basketballer to follow his dreams of becoming a musician, Reuben relocated from his hometown in Southampton to London. With dedication running through his DNA, he’s channeled his entire focus and energy into perfecting his craft. Having earned an initial fanbase from his Rap freestyles on TikTok, Reuben has continued to sharpen his skills recently going viral on both Balamii Radio and On The Radar. Despite the variety of sonic twists on ‘how did we end up hereReuben see’s the importance of being himself which has helped cultivate fans in Stormzy, Clint419, Jim Legxacy and more.

Following his debut headline show, ‘Always Come Back’ is the beginning of another productive run of activity for Reuben Aziz.
