RiTchie, of Injury Reserve and By Storm, has unveiled his debut solo single, RiTchie Valens.

In an open letter, RiTchie described the path that lead him to create and share his solo music, free from the expectations of Injury Reserve and By Storm.  This initial offering sees him embracing the playful side of his personality and follows guest features with Loriane James (Déjà Vu), Ho99o9 (Stunt Double), and Tony Velour (TV James a.k.a B3K).

The accompanying, self-directed video - shot by RiTchie’s Injury Reserve and By Storm bandmate, Parker Corey - mirrors the song’s carefree, casual approach and follows the rapper through sand dunes, a barbershop and beyond.
