Curtis Mayfield certainly figured it out with "The Makings Of You", here reframed by Soul Sugar as a languid roots-reggae song voiced by Leo Carmichael, alongside a dub version. The track is taken from the upcoming new album Just A Little Talk scheduled for release on March 15th 2024.
