Noah Bouchard - Sometimes (Official Video)

After ending a strong 2023 with the relaxed smooth and melodic single ‘Swan Song’, Noah Bouchard is back with a new offering ‘Sometimes’. The track follows suit, Noah leaning into the blend of hip-hop grooves and jazzy melodies. Layering his vocals in the opening hook, the track then opens up into a laid-back rap delivery, with ethereal piano fills breaking through the relaxed drum rhythms. Ending with a stripped-back moment, we hear the emotion start to break through Noah’s solemn but composed performance.

Noah shares, “I wrote this song to encapsulate the feeling of loneliness, isolation and longing for human connection at a time when it felt like real life was far away. With the music video, we wanted to create a character stuck in the monotonous grind of life while struggling to fit in with the world around him. I've always loved Pixar films so making a music video in that kind of style has been a really fun process!”

The new single comes alongside an inventive music video. Shot on iPhone utilising a filter with the stylistic sensibilities of Pixar animation, the video tells a story of a relationship fractured by distance. Our protagonist is lonely and frustrated by the absence of his partner until the final resolution brings the pair back together.
