One of the UK’s most influential rappers, Giggs (Saturday 3rd August), will perform a one-off headline show as part of the Margate Summer Series.

The pioneering MC has dominated the UK music industry with his huge catalogue of music, including road-rap anthems: “Talkin’ the Hardest”, “Lock Doh” and “Peligro”. Known for his original sound, growling vocals and rumbling bass Giggs is an unstoppable force whose stature and cultural importance has continued to grow both at home in the UK and internationally, as illustrated by Jay-Z’s endorsement in his verse for DJ Khaled’s ‘GOD DID’.

To date, Giggs has released five studio albums, several mixtapes and performed across the world including hometown shows at The Roundhouse, Hammersmith Apollo and Wembley Arena and has collaborated with the likes of Drake, Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Dave, Aitch, Popcaan and Jorja Smith to name just a few.

On top of that, special guest Ghetts will be taking to the stage, having recently won the MOBO’s Pioneer Award, the rapper has continually pushed and evolved the genre, raising the bar once again with his new album “On Purpose, With Purpose”, featuring the like of Sampha, Wretch 32 and Kano.

This will be a one-off chance to see these two legendary UK artists in the unique, summer setting of Dreamland Margate. Expect a high-energy and high-class show hosted by presenter and grime and rap tastemaker DJ Target.
