Odeal - Gaslight 101 (Official Video)

Odeal, the formidable singer, songwriter and Ovmbr head honcho, has returned with his latest release, "Gaslight 101," produced by Charlie Pitts This track marks his first release of the year, building upon the success of his remarkable "Thoughts I Never Said" EP from last year. In "Gaslight 101," Odeal delves into the complexities of relationships, shedding light on his faults and vulnerabilities. The song explores the feelings of rejection that arise from unreturned calls and messages, illustrating how these actions can be manipulated and turned against him. Odeal will be taking the EP on the road and embarks on his ’Thoughts I Never Said’ tour in May and will visit Manchester, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Koln, Paris, New York and LA.

Born in Germany, the 23-year-old musician was raised between Nigeria, Spain and the UK and has been immersed in diverse cultures his whole life. His varied upbringing has led to his fusion of Alte, R&B and Afro, fast-tracking him into becoming the voice to watch out for over the past few years. Along the way, Odeal has worked with artists such as Nines, Enny, K-Trap and Gabzy, to name a few, and has proven how valuable a verse from him can be. On his solo material, he has developed a fiercely individual sound and established himself as a force, selling out three shows one after another with his Ovmbr brand at the forefront. More recently, Odeal has immersed himself in his love for fashion attending London Fashion Week and sitting front row at JW Anderson, Ahluwalia, Labrum, Holzweiler and more. 2024 has also witnessed a successful Ovmbr event in East London last month, with a record number of parties planned for the year soon to be announced.

Career highlights include co-signs from BBC Radio 1’s Victoria Jane, BBC 1xtra and Represent, and NME, Hypebeast, Uproxx, Complex, Notion and Guap. Odeal has had one of last year's most popular COLORS performances, has racked up over 20 million plays on ‘Coffee (Don’t Read Signs)’ andplaced 12 on the UK industry engagement list. With his painstakingly soulful vocals and poignant words at the forefront of everything he does, Odeal continues to captivate listeners and establish himself as a once-in-a-generation vocalist.
