Ready to mark her return with new music, London-based singer-songwriter Mnelia gifts us with the beautiful ‘Heaven’. Produced by Albin Tengblad & Gustav Landell (Banks, Rico Nasty, Taya Parx), the track is everything we would expect from Mnelia + more. Her truly ethereal 90’s R&B-infused vocals and vulnerably honest lyricism, once again served as a perfect match for these  long-term collaborators in the studio.

Last year Mnelia set the scene with the release of her ‘Closure Tapes’ EP. The body of work was a true testament to her growth as not only an artist but also as a woman. The EP featured singles ‘Closure’, ‘White Lies’ and her standout ‘Genesis’ Remix  featuring UK R&B darlings Miraa May, Bellah alongside stateside’s Joyce Wrice. Following the release of the EP Mnelia played her first ever sold out headline show at London’s Omeara which really showcased the power and confidence she exudes as a rising artist on stage.

Speaking on last year's EP, Mnelia reflects ‘‘In the process of healing, I birthed what felt  like my own heartbreak bible. Creating Closure Tapes was the perfect safe space for me to explore all the many emotions that being a new mother, whilst simultaneously dealing with heartache, delivered to my front door.’

2024 will be an exciting year for Mnelia. Being locked away in the studio and creating her most evolved music to date, ‘Heaven’ and subsequent singles throughout the year will truly show fans and media that Mnelia is here to stay.
