Bugzy Malone - The Great British Dream (Album)

MOBO Award winning rapper Bugzy Malone has released new 15-track album, ‘The Great British Dream’.

To coincide with the album, Bugzy has also dropped a new official video for ‘Beauty & The Beast II’ - a rebooted extension of one of his most iconic breakout tracks, originally released in 2016 and lifted from his ‘Facing Time’ EP.

Directed by long-time collaborator WHATSESAYING and shot in and around Bugzy’s home, it tells the story of a-day-in-the-life, stripping things back in hard-hitting style.

Out now on his own B. Somebody Records imprint, ‘The Great British Dream’ - Bugzy’s third studio album - is anchored in themes of manifestation, vision and self-determination. Featuring the singles Old Friends, Ladies and Ghetto Wisdom, as well as his latest Daily Duppy (via GRM Daily), Bugzy channels pain and adversity into lyrics that paint a picture of an artist finally at peace with his own story.

Born and raised on the streets of Manchester in the 1990s, Bugzy’s early life was punctuated by crime and violence but as a musician, he’s gone onto release a total of 11x critically-acclaimed studio albums/mixtapes/EPs, establish Manchester as its own UK rap power-base, and build an artist brand that has become a beacon of hope for others growing up in similar situations.

Away from music, Bugzy has also branched out into both acting - he’s so far appeared in two Guy Ritchie films (2019’s ‘The Gentleman’ & 2023 spy comedy, ‘Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre’) - and entrepreneurship. In 2020, he unveiled his B. Malone clothing/apparel line and last summer, Bugzy launched Fortitude’ by House Of Vision; his first ever fragrance, which is now stocked in over 200 UK stores nationwide.

Described by Bugzy himself as a ‘blueprint’ for anyone looking to rise up and empower themselves to design their lives on their own terms, ‘The Great British Dream’ is out now and lands as his most decisive and inspiring work yet.
