MoRuf, the Jersey born, Los Angeles based artist, and shares a stylish new visual for EP standout “Naz Joint”, directed by acclaimed singer & visual artist Jesse Boykins III. The visual features MoRuf on an overcast day at the beach, boasting about his accomplishments and obstacles overcome up until this point in his rap career.

Speaking about the lead single and its video, Moruf shares: “Naz Joint is a reintroduction of the man/artist MoRuf. Speaking on past times and the journey of what it took just to get here. Not being satisfied with just the local notoriety but wanting more. Doing the shadow work and evolving as a man & creative, while manifesting the life he wants. This is simply the story of the underdog.“

Hailing from Irvington, New Jersey, MoRuf embarked on a transformative journey when he moved with his small family to Los Angeles in November 2023, aiming to unveil his higher artistic self through the forthcoming album Moolodic. Rooted in the ‘Jersey Clan' collective, MoRuf's sonic evolution traversed the Alt Rap/R&B scene, solidifying his underground fanbase with albums like Garden State of Mind: Ready To Live and Shades of Moo.

His latest EP, Tiny Mic Raps series offers a glimpse into his diverse range, blending battle rap roots with captivating visuals. Each track features freestyles over his favourite beats into a tiny microphone, elevated by visualisers directed by some of the best directors around (including Joshua Kissi, David Freemans, and Joe Kenneth). Standout visuals include "Sentimental", a song dedicated to fatherhood, and "Alakazam". Beyond music, MoRuf's philanthropic efforts, including his nonprofit 'Love Over Everything', demonstrate his commitment to community and compassion.
