Kitty Ca$h - Handle With Care (EP)

Kitty Ca$h releases her debut EP Handle With Care. The new project sees Ca$h honing the skills that she has crafted over the course of tastemaking DJ sets and compilations over the course of the past decade into her debut project as a producer. Across Handle With Care, she enlists friends new and old -- from bass virtuoso Thundercat to rap star Rico Nasty to critically-acclaimed UK rising star George Riley, among others -- to bring her unique vision of dance music to life. The EP arrives on the heels of her sharing "Time Machine" and "Can't Shut Us Down," Handle With Care singles that feature Thundercat and PawPaw Rod, respectively.
 
Stepping into a producer role is a natural evolution in her career; in addition to being an in-demand DJ, she's hosted three volumes of her mixtape series Love The Free, where she's enlisted an impressive array of artists and producers (including everyone from bona fide stars like SZA and Doja Cat to critically-acclaimed artists like Kelela and Little Simz) to contribute songs that Ca$h carefully curated into bodies of work.
 
Despite the impressive resumé and nonstop performances she's done, Cachee Livingston (better known as Ca$h to many), realises that the key to following in the footsteps of her luminaries Little Louie Vega, DJ Premier, and DJ Jazzy Jeff is to make timeless records. Her first proper release as a producer came in 2021 in the form of "Just Fine" with Kiana Ledé.
