BIG WETT - SHE GOT THAT THING (Official Video)

BIG WETT returns with her electrifying new single, ‘SHE GOT THAT THING’, a femme unifying track laden with classic house and electro flavors, perfect for a girls' night out pre-game. The highly anticipated release is out May 31 on all major platforms via the renowned Future Classic label (home of Flume, Nikki Nair, Sycco, Cameo Blush and more).

Reflecting on the electro-pop track readymade for the dancefloor, BIG WETT says: “SHE GOT THAT THING is different from what people might expect from me, yet still reminiscent of the 90s club scene. It's a song to make love to—smooth, sexy, classy, and a little bit naughty—just how I like my women. I wrote this song in London with Frank Colucci and Joe Brown the day after a big night. I hadn't slept because I spent the night with a girl I’d had a crush on for a long time. We hooked up but probably shouldn’t have, so I felt guilty but pleased... fragile, I guess you'd call it. That inspired the sexy bassline, siren, and vocals. Women are so sensual, and I wanted to express that in this song and its film clip. The slow siren immediately makes me want to grind and be grinded on. There's another version with a rap detailing our night, but it was too explicit and didn’t fit the romantic vision I had for the song... although maybe one day I'll say FUCK IT and drop the original.”

BIG WETT is known for her bold, sex-positive, and inclusive music, bringing a deliciously horny and liberated energy to the dance floor. After taking the Australian dance music scene by storm, her global fan base continues to grow, with her music resonating across the UK, Europe, and beyond. Her songs are infused with queer pride, femme power, and sexual empowerment, making her one of today’s most intriguing new artists.

Emerging through the fog of a dance floor in late 2021, BIG WETT quickly gained a cult following with her intoxicating live shows and raw Soundcloud demos. Her journey began when she uploaded her first track, "EAT MY ASS," one drunken evening in December 2021. The demo quickly caught industry attention and garnered die-hard fans.

BIG WETT has captivated audiences with her electrifying stage performances at major festivals such as Meredith Music Festival, Pitch Music & Arts, The Great Escape, and Splendour in the Grass. She has also sold out headline shows in London, Melbourne, and Sydney. Following the release of her debut EP, ‘PU$$Y,’ last September, BIG WETT embarked on two headline tours across Australia, selling 3,000 tickets. In the UK, she sold out a 250-capacity show at Moth Club, London, and delivered a mainstage performance at the Mighty Hoopla Festival. Her festival appearances include Gaytimes, Dark Mofo, Heaps Gay, Yours and Owls, Lost Paradise, and Beyond The Valley. Looking ahead, she is set to perform at Mardi Gras in Sydney and Party In The Paddock in Tasmania in 2024.

Comparisons to artists like Peaches, Kim Petras, Uffie, and COBRAH highlight BIG WETT’s unique presence. With her fans, dubbed “wetties,” she is creating a world of her own, with the ultimate goal of world domination.
