South London's prodigious producer, songwriter, and virtuoso multi-instrumentalist, Tom Misch, returns with a new single today, “Insecure”. Renowned for his distinctive fusion of soulful melodies and intricate guitar craftsmanship, the candid and emotionally resonant single "Insecure” is the first release under his own name since 2021’s “Quarantine Sessions” album.

Co-written with Jimmy Napes, "Insecure" serves as a compelling testament to Misch's artistic evolution, effortlessly weaving together his signature blend of introspective lyricism, hypnotic rhythms and sumptuous instrumentation. With a raw honesty that cuts to the core, Misch lays bare his vulnerabilities, inviting listeners into a world of unfiltered emotion.  “Insecure” began to take shape four years ago,  but Misch waited, only now feeling like it was the right time to share the song with the world.

Tom Misch has peppered the last few years with various musical explorations including his collaborative album with drummer and jazz innovator Yussef Dayes on 2020’s Ivor Novello nominated album “What Kinda Music”, and electronic experimentation with the club aligned alter ego Supershy, which showcased his versatility and willingness to push artistic boundaries. His acclaimed 2018 album “Geography” was his last full LP release.

With sold out shows across the globe, streaming figures in excess of 1.5 billion,  collaborations with the likes of De La Soul,  Loyle Carner,  Michael Kiwanuka and Marcos Valle, and support from Eric Clapton, John Mayer and Elton John,  Misch has quietly but rapidly become one of the most celebrated artists of the last decade and influenced a generation of musicians and producers.  "Insecure" represents the first in a series of standalone singles set to be released over the coming months, as Misch meticulously crafts his highly anticipated new solo album.
