Cruza - Cruzafied (Album)

Cruza  releases their long-awaited full-length project, Cruzafied out now via Def Jam Recordings. The album serves as a showcase for the group's signature style of psych-RnB. From heady psychedelia to the twisting-and-turning melodies, the 13 songs on Cruzafied present a band whose members have found connectivity between themselves, their instruments, and their own collective vision.

The band, composed of Adam Kain (vocals), AJ Roth (bass), Charity Joy Brown(guitar), and Sago (production) brings together dense percussion, atmospheric melody, and hazy vocals to create a sound that can feel both heavy and spirit-lifting. Over the last three years, the group has toured the United States, received support from the late designer Virgil Abloh, and collaborated with fellow genre-pusher Smino while releasing multiple acclaimed projects.  Translating to “Cross” in Latin, Cruza hints at the intersection between religious fervor and music fandom. The band explores unknown territory for listeners evident in their unconventional combination of 808s, bass and electric guitars.
 
Last October, the band released Paranoia Pack EP which has since reached 2 million streams, and features Mamii on “Pulp Jam” who wrote three songs on Beyonce’s “COWBOY CARTER”. Garnering looks from Alternative Press, CLASH, and OnesToWatch.

This October, Cruza will embark on a headline tour across Europe with a tour in North America to be announced soon.
