Born and raised in South Leicestershire, Scarlett Andrews has always used music as "her way of escape" by creatively stimulating her mind in a way nothing else could.

Scarlett first developed her musical passion at the age of five when she started her classical singing journey. Now almost twenty years later she is working towards her Diploma in classical singing.

Musical theatre took a front seat in her early teen years as she trained at one of the most prestigious Musical Theatre schools in the UK. After much deliberation as to which direction she was going to channel her creative passions, she turned to songwriting and by the age of eighteen released her first single ‘Choices’ in partnership with her management team L4 Creatives.

Scarlett spent much of her early career experimenting with style and genre to find a sound that resonates with her as a person. She believes that she is constantly on a journey of exploration and experimentation, taking inspiration from producers she collaborates with. Scarlett’s primary influence dates back to the early years when she would watch her mother singing in a jazz band at local bars and venues. As a proud child, she soaked up the soulful vocals of covers her mother would sing and now implements this smooth sound into her own works.

Scarlett brings a beating heart to popular music by taking great care in the execution of her lyricism. Paired with stand out vocals and thoughtful instrumentals she is definitely an artist on the up within the British music industry.

With warmer months on the horizon, Scarlett Andrews’ latest release ‘Reasons Why’ is giving us all the feel good summer energy we have been craving. Created in collaboration with producer Taylr, the two came together to provide our new favourite summer anthem.

‘Reasons Why’ takes all that we love from house music and integrates it with a soulful pop sound, something Scarlett is best known for. This track is showing off a completely new sound for Scarlett but we are definitely here for it and are excited to listen in on the journey that is to come.
