Flexing her stellar studio skills, ‘FRESH AND NEW’ sees Frisco’s lyrics about “making moves” in a dreamy pristine location effortlessly bounce over Oppidan’s wavey, filtered sample chops and fittingly clean, skippy garage beat.
Oppidan has rapidly become a shining star in a recent wave of producers translating UKG for today’s ravers with modern production techniques and sounds. Her sublime, choppy edit of the classic The Chordettes track, 'Mr. Sandman', was premiered at major festivals like Glastonbury and Boomtown in 2023, but had already gained over 1M streams from fan-shared rips.
