PREMIERE: Ben Hunter - Area (Official Video)

Barnstaple, North Devon based MC Ben Hunter releases his latest project “Area” alongside an official video.

Speaking on the record, Ben says: I wrote and recorded this in a single session and then built the sound around the vocal, it was initially just a kick drum and we were trying to make it anthemic and almost as if created for a film. Kiasi at F18 produced and we studied Chase and Status as a guide for the record.

Feeling under-rated and often shunned as being a Rapper from Devon people constantly expect me to sound like a farmer ... but we don’t talk like that in my Areeeeaaaa. For me it's a coming of age record with the aim being to inspire people to stand in their authenticity and own who they are.

Rising rap artist Ben Hunter is taking the music industry by storm with his raw and unfiltered style.
