Frozemode - DEMODE 2 (Mixtape)

Following a string of impressive singles and unrivalled performances, Frozemode have unveiled their highly anticipated mixtape, ‘DEMODE 2’. Featuring pre-released singles “KURAMA”, “ASBO BOYS”, and “BLACK HOLE”, ‘DEMODE 2’ is a testament to their growth over the past 12 months. Best known for their unapologetic approach, liberating production, and lyrical substance, Frozemode are continuing to solidify their trailblazer status.

Opening the project with fan favourite “ASBO BOYS”, a track made in response to various online comments, the electrifying energy is perfect for mosh pits. Flaunting their dexterity, we swiftly transition into “BLACK HOLE”, a seamless weave of high energy, heavy drums, and thundering flows. Navigating bad habits used to escape reality,  I.V.GATLIN, Cho-Hollo, and Lisong go back-to-back on this irresistible listen. Continuing to experiment sonically with the use of electric guitars, “KURAMA” is a nod to anime, more specifically a Naruto character named Kurama known for its strength, resilience, and power. As we begin to step towards the end of the mixtape, Frozemode showcase two brand new songs, “MANDEM NAH”, a catchy release that houses a whimsical production and “NO ASSUMPTIONS”, a rock-esc anthem that boasts a grand chorus and vigorous energy. Lacing themes of substance throughout, ‘DEMODE 2’ explores the human experience of three young men navigating the music industry, the lifestyle that comes with it, and developing through their twenty-somethings.

Speaking on the release of the project Frozemode commented, “With ‘DEMODE 2’ we are delving more into the hidden sides of ourselves and blending the fun flashy bars with the dark reality of the lifestyle. We are continuing to refine and expand the MODESKOOL genre.”
