SJ - Where We From / Free SJ (Double Single - Official Video)

One of the faces for the younger generation of Drill music SJ, hailing from Tottenham North London and part of the infamous OFB (Bandokay, Double Lz) has announced his forthcoming project ‘The Biggest WHAT IF?’ released on August 16th.

Releasing two lead singles on the same day ‘Where We From / Free SJ’, both pay homage to his hometown of Tottenham. ‘Where We From’ produced by JJ Beatz is a dark, drill anthem paying close attention to the ends he grew up in, filled with some of SJ’s hardest bars and a catchy hook. ‘Free SJ’ unites his fans, beckoning his release with SJ flowing so fluidly over a beat produced by scarymadethis.

With a Daily Duppy incoming on August 8th and another single release ‘Back To Black’ on the 15th August, the day before the full project, SJ is set to let it be known he is still the face for the younger generation of Drill music.

Coming from Tottenham in North London, SJ had a promising football career before arriving in the drill scene with 'Bad B On The Nizz' alongside fellow OFB members Bandokay and Double Lz, currently on 6million YouTube views.

Quickly gaining popularity, the trio reunited for classic track 'Ambush' (33m YouTube views), before SJ's debut solo track 'Youngest In Charge', currently on over 70m streams, a highly anticipated track given that SJ is seen as the face of the younger generation of drill music. Previous collaborations include Headie One, Digga D, 163 Margs.

Most recently, SJ featured on the remixes of Mazza_L20's viral track 'Murdaside', which trended on Youtube at #1, #2, #6 and #11 simultaneously. There was an #18 debut on the official charts and the track held #1 position on the video streaming chart for 2 weeks.

SJ's 'Plugged In' freestyle was released 6 months ago with 3.5m YouTube views, showing demand for the rapper is still there, ahead of debut solo project 'The Biggest What If' to be released this summer.
