Glowe - Room Service (Official Video)
Confident and empowering, the two words that come to mind when thinking of the UK’s hottest pop riser Glowe. Dropping a string of successful singles so far this year from “Hover”, “Little Bird”, and “Mean Girls”, which have caught the eye of Notion, Wonderland, Euphoria Magazine, BBC Radio 1 Mollie King’s ‘Future Pop’ show and many more, the self proclaimed party princess has returned with an unrivalled sultry sizzler, “Room Service”.
Reuniting with good-friend and producer Havelock on production [previously produced “Little Bird”], the pair have created a sultry listen that exudes Glowe’s lyrical prowess and lilting toplines over a sonic dreamscape. Detailing a moment of intimacy between her and a fellow love interest, the singer-songwriter dances effortlessly with her butter-like vocals across the ingenious instrumentation. Housing an infectious hook and paired with a correlating music video, we follow Glowe around a hotel room as she demands the listener's attention with a captivating performance.
When asked about the single Glowe explained, “This is the final track on my EP ‘Life Of The Party’. To put it bluntly, “Room Service” is a song about getting down and dirty in a hotel room! I wanted to feel super confident and sexy in this release, but still keep it classy. This is the second collaboration on the EP with Havelock after ‘Little Bird’ which was released on 5th July. Lyrically, “Room Service” is some of my proudest work and I am growing so much as a songwriter.
This summer I’ve spent lots of time creating songs for other artists at Sundown Studios, which I co-own with my best friend Archie. (You should come and check us out). I love writing for different projects but it’s so exciting to be back with a release of my own. This feels like the perfect round off to my EP ‘Life Of The Party’. After a chaotic, messy and memorable Brat Summer.”
