Speaking on the collaboration, MANSO̶U̶R̶ explains: “Our approach to creating the track was to simply go with what came to us and see where that led. In life, you can’t slow down the pace. You need to stay stimulated and in motion. We have this dynamic in life where when a friend is down, you're up. You motivate one another to want to do more, and vice versa.”
He adds: “’EARLYMORNINGS!’ is more than a song, it's a lifestyle; an anthem made in the south of the river. It’s about the idea that every morning is a new opportunity to explore, try things out, and discover what we don’t know yet. You never know what the day holds. Stay curious and open to whatever might come.”
Growing up in an Algerian and Guinean household in the heart of Paris, MANSO̶U̶R̶ has been exposed to powerful influences from an early age; with frequent trips to London exposing him to UK culture and allowing him to quietly pull the strings behind some serious music, fashion and community endeavours over the last few years.
Becoming an esteemed DJ at 21 years old, the rising talent sharpened his approach towards hip-hop, jazz and electronic music, creating cutting-edge sets through his eclecticism and an overflowing, genuine and communicative energy. This breadth of creativity quickly earned significant placements alongside fashion imprints incl. JEAN PAUL GAULTIER, AXEL ARIGATO, NIKE and ADIDAS - supplying his mellow-trill sonics behind the decks before shifting focus onto musical creation.
Fascinated by the art of storytelling through sound, MANSO̶U̶R̶ developed a blossoming artistry, producing and recording his own records as an outlet to connect and fully express his affinities. Building his network across Paris and London, he unleashed his first official single “TTD” (watch) ft. breakout star Len last year. Standout tracks “FEED THE FIRE” (watch) ft. Sam Wise and “MY TYPE!” (listen) ft. BXKS and Odunsi (The Engine) soon followed, becoming the backbone for his incendiary debut EP DO YOU GET IT (listen) – a pivotal moment that instantly solidified his sound and presence at the forefront of alt-rap’s new wave.
Entering 2024 with sets across FOUNDATION FM and RINSE FRANCE, the Parisian creative continued to stake his claim with further collaborations with SAMSON on “NORTHERN LINE” (watch), El Londo and Rxlls across “MEDIUM RARE” (watch) and most recently Oscar #Worldpeace for the official remixes of his highly-acclaimed album Mum, Pray for Your Son.
