Singer-songwriter JP Cooper releases his new single “Diamonds and Gold”, out today on Island Records. Produced by Cam Blackwood, the deeply personal song is the second single to be taken from Cooper’s forthcoming third album, due later this year. “It  follows the release of previous single “Waiting On a Blue Sky”.

“Diamonds and Gold” is a soulful dedication to Cooper’s wife. He explains, “It’s a song about beauty showing up when you don’t expect it. It’s a song I wrote for my wife: ‘Some men find riches in riverbeds, some find them way out at sea, some ancient maps say they’re underground… but I found you here on my street.’ This feels like an incredibly abundant time in my life. I’m grateful to be able to share it with this song.”

Dates include stops across America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, including headline shows in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and London, playing Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on 7th November.
