Yael Daila - Libralicious (Single)

Rising Dutch artist, Yael Daila, shares ‘Libralicious’, out on the 7th February from upcoming EP, out on the 11th April.

Yael Daila is an artist that traverses genres and channels her music into an open invitation for her listeners to simultaneously lose and find themselves. Her latest release ‘Libralicious’ from her incoming EP is no different, the narrative follows the concept of revisiting a toxic relationship, acknowledging the flaws and failures, yet still feeling drawn to the emotional intensity and familiarity of the connection. Driven through a calming yet captivating melody, with Yael’s soothing voice cruising over the top, the song explores the juxtaposition of what can be a concerning circumstance, whilst making light of the situation, something the artist is building a strong reputation for. Effectively encouraging her audience to tap into a therapy session, Yael is constructing a safe space to display her emotions, whilst allowing listeners to empathise and find comfort within themselves at the same time with her autobiographical lyrics.

The artist’s musical journey began with her first single release in 2020, and remained creative throughout to share with the world her debut EP that was released in 2022. Now with the upcoming release of her EP the artist takes a further step forward into her creative journey, channeling everything she has learnt in the past through a powerful path of self-transformation, all whilst navigating heartbreak emotional manipulation, and self-worth, in a body of work that is sure to propel the artist further into the public sphere. Blending dark and uplifting tones, with dynamic head-voice melodies set over trappy pop production, while still keeping a dark edge, the artist creates a completely unique experience.
