Decca Records has today announced the latest single to be released from Chet Baker Re:imagined, a contemporary tribute to one of jazz’s most enduring and influential artists. Marking the 70th anniversary of the seminal album Chet Baker Sings, the 15-track collection brings together a diverse lineup of musicians who have reimagined the iconic trumpeter and singer’s music, blending tradition with innovation.

The latest single comes from US vocalist mxmtoon, whose interpretation of “I Fall In Love Too Easily” captures the song’s quiet vulnerability. With her signature soft, melancholic vocals and introspective style, the Brooklyn-based artist infuses the classic ballad with a fresh, modern sensibility.

The Chet Baker Re:imagined album offers unique interpretations that reflect Baker’s far-reaching influence and showcases an eclectic mix of global talent, weaving together elements of jazz, soul, pop, and R&B. UK-based artists such as dodie, Matt Maltese, Matilda Mann, Joel Culpepper, Ife Ogunjobi, Hohnen Ford, Eloise, Poppy Daniels, and Puma Blue lineup alongside international contributors including Benny Sings (Netherlands), Stacey Ryan (Canada), mxmtoon (USA), Sarah Kang (South Korea), and grentperez (Australia/Philippines).

As one of the pioneers of cool jazz, Chet Baker revolutionized the genre with his introspective vocals and masterful trumpet playing. His album Chet Baker Sings introduced a deeply personal, delicate vocal style that reshaped jazz balladry.
