MazeyJune - Turn (Single)

Rising star MazeyJune, in collaboration with one of hip-hop’s premier producers, GG Peney, has released a stunning and ethereal work of art with her fresh song ‘Turn’.

Imbued with a deep veil of spiritual yearnings, June asks searching questions through a poetically charged narrative of freestyled lyrics: “I'm not used to loving outside the bedsheets.”

Discussing her new single, she says the track is “Returning to the knowledge that my relationship with God is everlasting and runs deeper than any other relationship in my life, and the feeling of coming home to that truth is expressed in the track.” The vocalist also expressed that it (the lyrics) “..came out organically on the beat Jack (GG Peney) made, without writing anything down. It felt like I was tapped into a higher power and channeled the song,” she continued, “the whole track is a freestyle.”
