Young Eman - my yah (Official Video)
Sheffield-born rapper and producer Young Eman releases video for recent single ‘my yah’ ahead of debut EP ‘Steeze Kills’ due 28th February. The forthcoming run of activity is Eman’s moment to mark his territory as a front-runner within the next generation of UK Rap. Having already received support from his peers, Len, Lancey Foux and Fimiguerrero - who he supported at his recent London headline - Eman is cultivating his audience within the underground scene. ‘My Yah’ flexes his abilities as a multi-hyphenate artist in his own right, blending a self-produced Hyper-Rap production with fluctuating vocals to match. The audio, which dropped at the end of last month, has received early co-signs from Tiffany Calver, Wolfacejoeyy, Young T and Bugsey.
Based between Sheffield and London, Eman also represents his Zimbabwean roots to the fullest. The 19-year-old has cultivated his own community of fans with milestone moments such as his Blackbox U18 Cypher, performing alongside Skaiwater at Antagonist Festival and appearing on FC24’s soundtrack.
He’s regarded as a leader of the new era of digital rappers, having carefully built his reputation via his distinct sound, style and way of communicating with followers across his TikTok. Having been introduced to music via his Dad and Brother (also a producer) during his teens, Eman was curious to explore sonic avenues that aligned with his childhood idols Travis Scott, Chief Keef, Skepta and JME. The creative director behind his musical evolution, Eman not only produces and writes all his music but also directs and edits his videos, often hand-painting his artwork. His main goal in music-making is to make people feel endless euphoria, aligning with his life-on-the-edge persona. There’s no doubt that Eman is at the centre of the next generation of artists shifting UK Rap forward.
Having ignited fans' excitement with recent releases ‘2DASIDE’, ‘EAZI’ and ‘BIGGAH’, Eman’s carefully crafted his upcoming EP, 'Steeze Kills' over the past year to ensure it aligns with his creative vision. With no ceiling to his growth, 2025 will set Young Eman’s future up for success with more performances, singles, projects and videos.
