Nao - Light Years (Single)

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Nao unveils another powerful single ‘Light Years,’ taken from her highly anticipated fourth studio album, ‘Jupiter’, set for release on February 21st.  With mesmerising vocals that glide effortlessly through an uplifting and immersive soundscape, the track is a stunning showcase of Nao’s artistry - beautiful, moving, and unforgettable.

‘Light Years,’ co-written by Nao and Toby Gabb, and produced by Loxe, is a timeless portrayal of love, devotion, and commitment. A sonic experience that lingers long after it ends. “If another lifetime and Orbit collided this song would be born,” Nao shares.

This month sees the release of the album ‘Jupiter,’ followed by the start of Nao’s 2025 UK, European, and North American. The tour includes a headline performance at London’s iconic O2 Academy Brixton on March 12th.

‘Jupiter’ is a concept album centred around pure optimism, growth, and abundance. The visual elements surrounding ‘Jupiter’have been brought to life by frequent collaborator Lillie Eiger (Arlo Parks, Florence Welch), with creative direction fromSpaceBroth, merging the album’s themes into a cohesive visual narrative.

Taken from the record, Nao recently released ‘Happy People,’ a vibrant and infectious single co-written with Stint, Yakob (Jakob Rabitsch), Lauren Keen, and Kareem James, and produced by Stint and Yakob. The track offers a joyful glimpse into her evolving sound.

Following the soulful slow jam ‘All of Me,’ which captures love’s transformative power through heartfelt lyrics and a rich alt-R&B soundscape, Nao continues to deliver diverse sonic experiences that reflect the album's uplifting essence.

Last year, Nao announced ‘Jupiter’ and offered a glimpse into its diverse sound with two standout tracks, ‘Elevate’ and‘Wildflowers.’ ‘Elevate’ is an energising blend of shimmering guitar riffs, an infectious rhythm, and a euphoric solo by Andy Vickery, produced by Stint. ‘Wildflowers,’ recorded at Abbey Road Studios, explores love, growth, and vulnerability, capturing the highs and lows of life with emotional depth. To celebrate the announcement of her fourth album, Nao performed intimate, sold-out shows in Los Angeles, New York, London, and Amsterdam, which sold out within seconds.
