Sletta - Bring It Back (Single)
Sletta returns with nostalgic new single Bring It Back – a soulful reflection on childhood and life´s purpose.
London-based Norwegian artist Sletta released her latest single Bring It Back on Friday the 28th of March, blending neo-soul, contemporary jazz, and folk into a reflective exploration of childhood memories and the search for meaning in adult life. The track contrasts the freedom and innocence of youth with the complexity and responsibility of growing up, questioning whether we shape our own lives or follow a predetermined path.
“I think growing up in a small town in the south of Norway, I was quite lucky in many ways… Looking back now, I see just how rare and valuable that experience was,” Sletta reflects.
Fans of Jordan Rakei, Cleo Sol, and Robert Glasper will be drawn to the track’s warm textures, thoughtful lyrics, and emotive groove. Following a sold-out debut at Oslo’s Fuglen and acclaim for her previous single Out Of Time on Jamie Cullum’s The Jazz Show on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing Mixtape, Bring It Back marks another powerful chapter in Sletta’s evolving artistry. With authenticity at its core, the track offers a soulful reminder of what we carry with us from the past—and how it shapes our future.
