Wiz Khalifa ft: Gunna - 5 Star (Single)

With anticipation mounting for the release of Kush + Orange Juice 2, GRAMMY and Golden Globe nominated rapper Wiz Khalifa teams up with Gunna to drop off decadent new track ‘5 Star’. The track releases via Taylor Gang/BMG.

The lush soundscape of ‘5 Star’ provides the perfect backing for Wiz’s conversational flow, as he details the finer aspects of his lifestyle, all of which he can afford to his love interest. In his bars, Wiz highlights the dichotomy of his lavish lifestyle, one that pivots between yoga and hiking, and rockstar nights out. The laid-back chorus performed by Gunna adds to the effortless glide of the track, providing listeners with a memorable singalong moment.

The track is the fifth single taken from the upcoming album, following on from ‘Hit It Once’, ‘Bring Your Lungs’ (ft. Smoke DZA), ‘Hide It’ (ft. Don Toliver) and ‘Khalifa’s Home’. Kush + Orange Juice 2, due out on April 18th is the follow up to his cult classic Kush & Orange Juice mixtape from 2010. The new album promises to bring back the nostalgic mixtape energy that Wiz’s fans love, 15 years later. Producers behind the original mixtape's iconic sound - Cardo, ID Labs, and Sledgren return for Kush and Orange Juice 2 in addition to new producers Mike WiLL Made-It, Juicy J, DJ Quik, TM88, Lex Luger and more.

With the release of Kush + Orange Juice 2 nearing the horizon (arriving just in time for 420), ‘5 Star’ is another example of what fans have been describing as a return to form for the rapper and cultural icon.
