Aaron Taylor - Across My Mind (Single)

Arriving with his first offering of the year, Aaron Taylor delivers the gently moving new track ‘Across My Mind’ via Edenic Records.

Across My Mind’ foregoes extravagant production and the grand gestures of superficial romance in order to instead present a stripped-back intimacy, Aaron’s rich vocal being accompanied by little more than his acoustic guitar for much of the song. The sentiment behind ‘Across My Mind’ is about reconnecting with loved ones, offering them two of the most valuable resources we have: our time and attention.

Speaking on what the track means to him, Aaron says, “Across My Mind is a song about missing a friend and becoming aware of a newfound distance between us. It was written from the perspective of leaving them a message and wishing them well. It has a special place in my heart as it’s one of the rare occasions where I didn’t use someone else to play the guitar part like I usually do – there was a certain magic in my raw playing that matched the sentiment of the track.”

Over the past 12 months, Aaron Taylor has been in the studio, crafting more gorgeously soulful music that he is now ready to share with the world. 2024 saw Aaron work with other like minded creatives, remixing JERUB’s single ‘What If’, featuring on ‘Star’ by JONES and releasing his own Christmas single ‘If This Christmas Isn’t White’, featuring Jasmine Thompson.
