Manga Saint Hilare - 140 WORLD PROBLEMS (Official Video)
Leading Grime artist Manga Saint Hilare releases surprise single ‘140 WORLD PROBLEMS’ following the deluxe edition of ‘Everything Is Under Control’. His first solo release of the year re-confirms Manga’s position as a Grime heavyweight as he seamlessly shifts through the gears, providing his signature blend of avant-garde flows and lyrics to capture a euphoric sound. Kicking a busy run off with ‘140 WORLD PROBLEMS’, produced by Freeza Chin, Manga displays his thoughts on everyday issues, whether that’s Twitter trolls, incel culture or how to navigate being the best Grime MC.
Grime legend Manga Saint Hilare has been keeping himself busy since the release of his last project, ‘Everything Is Under Control’. Between fatherhood, operating a prime time slot on BBC 1Xtra alongside Sian Anderson, and losing his fifth MOBO Award, Manga has been fine-tuning the next era of his musical journey. Alongside his own workings, he’s spearheaded the re-union of beloved Grime-collective Roll Deep, offering glimpses into their new music with appearances on DJ AG and DJ Mak Ten. His activity includes a new avenue in DJ’ing, delivering self-filmed Grime mixes on his socials and YouTube that have garnered organic viewership. His involvement with Red Bull has seen him host various content with Mic Of Course, Deema, Shakes The Kid, and namesbliss, highlighting his influence on the generations after him. It’s safe to say Manga’s never-ending love for his craft is captured in his dedication over the past 20 years.
Earlier this month, Manga released multi-genre remixes of his ‘Everything Is Under Control’ project alongside Douvelle19, Lewi B, Riddla, Efan, MoreNight and Alpengeist. Beyond this, he’s finalising plans for a new album that is the sequel to ‘Everything’s Under Control.’.
