Neo-Soul Inspired Storyteller Redefining Vulnerability and Voice 

Multidisciplinary South London talent Tahn Solo invites listeners into a rich soundscape of introspection, theatricality, and soul with his long-awaited second EP Method Acting, produced by Kente Kwame and set for release April 18th 2025. In 2024, Tahn made waves with his resonant single Love, Craft Countries; an anthem for uncertain times that echoed sentiments of solace and hope. The track gained traction after a live performance on DJ AJ’s platform, and subsequent releases Closer and Come Alive were spotlighted by tastemaking platforms such as Rhythm In Britain and The Blues Project. 

Continuing the momentum of embodying authentic, well-crafted artistry, Tahn’s music reflects life’s shared complexities, blending the familiar with the unexpected through globally-inspired instrumentation and tender vocal delivery. Pushing boundaries while remaining grounded in soul and fusing poetic lyricism with textured instrumentation, Tahn’s voice commands attention. 

Drawing inspiration from genre-defining artists like D’Angelo, Tweet, and Nick Hakim, Method Acting is a refreshingly distinct journey of emotion and identity through musical finesse, rooted in an artistic depth associated with neo-soul. Each track unravels a different layer of the human experience. From the dreamlike allure of opener Hanafuda, to the sharp, charismatic honesty of Ego, Tahn balances vulnerability with self-assurance, weaving stories that feel both intimate and universal.

The EP continues with Ekko The Things We Say, an exploration of emotional suppression, and Closer, where sensuality flows through the ambient instrumentals. On Come Alive, haunting synths and hypnotic rhythms merge, offering a darker, atmospheric moment in the EP’s dynamic arc. Altogether, Method Acting cements Tahn’s place as a deeply emotive artist with a profound jazz-influenced sound.
