Fred Fades & Jawn Rice - Luv Neva Fades

As we’re heading into the season we occasionally get to see that yellow thing in the sky we felt it was high time to offer up some summery vibes, and this time they’re provided by the Norwegian based producer, DJ and collector Fredfades, who has teamed up with Jawn Rice to create Luv Neva Fades, a vibey EP which lends aspects of Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, Techno and Deep House to create a melodic infusion that will immediately have you nodding your head and warming your soul! The duo are both on the Mutual Intentions label imprint, and finally, after knowing each other for over a decade have finally joined forces on a new sonic endeavour, serving as a follow up to 2019’s Jacuzzi Boyz.

Like Jacuzzi Boys, this album is an extended collaborative affair, as Mutual Intentions’ reach stretches across the Atlantic with guest appearances from Byron the Aquarius, Javonntte, Arthur Kay, Bendik HK and the SP1200 that started it all. Shimmering melodies, hazy harmonies and boisterous beats draw Fredfades and Jawn Rice out of the jacuzzi and onto the dance floor, moving under shimmering stars, where the duo cement what they started with Luv Neva Fades.

In addition to the main release, the duo are also releasing a remix EP featuring some stripped back and alternate versions of Luv Neva Fades. The album is available now on limited edition vinyl, including a bundle with the remix vinyl from Bandcamp HERE
