Tkay Maidza - Last Year Was Weird Vol. 3

Aussie-Zimbabwean, Tkay Maidza bookends her three year long eclectic Last Year Was Weird trilogy of EPs with Vol. 3.

Maidza has consistently brought great energy and inspirational creativity across all EPs in the trilogy and Vol. 3 is no exception to this. This project further explores her stunning depth of palette, ranging from tongue in cheek bangers like ‘Kim’ to mellow and vulnerable sways on tracks like ‘Cashmere’.

She stands up as an example of young creative hip hop talent coming out of Aus in the recent years. Her multi-genre rollercoaster of Aussie twangs and surreal tones glides through the clouds of your brain far too easily. We’ll definitely all be waiting for Maidza’s longly anticipated next full length project.
