Melbourne Hip-Hop artist Jaal delivers his debut mixtape ‘PARADOX’ - a tribute to the year 2020.

Jaal say’s - This year was very controversial and contradictory in the sense that a lot of good and bad things occurred in my life simultaneously. It was a really really great year for me (as funny as it sounds) regardless of the pandemic and being locked up in the house for damn near half the year. Hence the title - ’PARADOX’ - which is my debut mixtape and is a collective reflection of my entire experience of 2020.

Hailing out of Melbourne’s South East, Jaal brings a brand-new flavour to the local Hip-Hop scene. The 21 year-old artist mixes the raw expression and lyrical ability of the Boom Bap era with the modern soundscape and flows of newer music, all while allowing his South Sudanese & Australian heritage to be colourfully displayed.
