Leicester’s creative scene has been punching above its weight in recent years, with a string of rising stars emerging from the little city. If you were to put odds on which Leicester talent was most viable to blow next, Sane would be the bookies' favourite.

In contrast to the global stasis of 2020, this year saw the release of The Moving EP; Sane’s sophomore project with Birmingham producer Lowpass Luke (production credits to date include Jafro, TrueMendous and Lady Sanity). The 6 track offering is a testament to the duo’s ability to craft honest, relatable music with hip hop at the centre of a mixing pot of influences. Case in point… ‘Sometimes’, a Cuban infused hip hop banger about the highs and lows of love/hate relationships with deftly penned bars and an infectious hook.
