Strawberries & Creem Announce 2020 Lineup
Cambridge’s Strawberries & Creem Festival is back with a stellar lineup for 2020, with Mike Skinner, Tiffany Calver, Jaykae and Pa Salieu performing alongside incredible headliners, Koffee and Sean Paul.
This year’s diverse line-up sees the event move to a larger, brand new spot just outside of Cambridge on Saturday 20th June. Now in its seventh year, the festival that started as a hip-hop night by two Cambridge students looking to bring a taste of R&B, soul, rap and grime to the city has now turned into a festival with around 15,000 attending year-on-year. With past lineups featuring Skepta, Wiley, Kano, J Hus, AJ Tracey and Ms Dynamite, this year brings a blend of international stars as well as up-and-coming names from UK rap, grime, drum and bass, reggae, garage, house, afrobeats and more.
Alongside an all-female line-up for the festival’s house presence, from Jess Bays and Saffron Stone to Sam Divine, the UK’s big names in rap are making a strong appearance. From the Midlands, expect to see Small Heath’s Jaykae make his Strawberries & Creem debut. Following collaborations with Murkage Dave and Kida Kudz, 2020 looks set to be one of his most successful years yet. Following on is Coventry rapper, Pa Salieu whose recent profile seems to be growing rapidly. Described as one of the UK’s freshest voices in rap, he’ll be popping up at Love Saves The Day, Rolling Loud, Leeds and a host of other festivals across the summer.
Along with the 19-year-old Jamaican sensation, Koffee whose songs ‘Toast’ and ‘Rapture’ have propelled her into the spotlight, and dancehall pioneer Sean Paul, this year’s Strawberries and Creem looks set to be one to remember.
