PREMIERE: Shuko X Nia Wyn X Kinkai - I Ain't Finished Yet

We’re honoured to have the first play of ‘I Aint Finished Yet’ a beautiful track about the set-backs in life and how we learn from them to become stronger and more resilient.

German producer Shuko, who has produced for the likes of Talib Kweli, Ty Dolla $ign and Nipsey Hussle continues to expand his own label For The Love Of It. This new single is a collaboration with Welsh Nia Wyn and Manchester rapper KinKai. On a laid back jazz beat the artists deal with experiencing set-backs and disappointments in life such as mental health issues and criticism from others.

On this song Shuko proves his feeling for promising talent and harmonizing artists. Nia Wyn convinces with her unusual and distinctive voice, as well as a strength for raw and powerful storytelling. Her hard and at the same time warm charisma shows a versatile personality, also reflected in her sound, inspired by rappers like Nas and Lauryn Hill, but also jazz artists like Billie Holiday. Nia has had widespread support from BBCR1, BBC Introducing, 6Music and is set to support Paul Weller on tour in 2021.

KinKai grew up on the outskirts of Manchester and his music reflects this difficult time in poverty. Inspired by his Jamaican and Sierra Leonean roots, the rapper incorporates Hip Hop, Jazz, Reggae and West African music into his art. With his second album in 2017, he was able to attract the attention of major festivals as well as the well-known indie label Majestic Casual and become a permanent fixture in British underground hip hop.

All three together create something special but it’s clear they are all artists to keep an eye on this year!
