Hip-Hop artist and poet Otis Mensah releases his new single and visuals for Troglodyte Jazz. Produced by The Intern, Troglodyte Jazz is an airy jazz infused lyrically playful track from the critically acclaimed wordsmith.

Hailing from Sheffield, Otis Mensah combines vivid storytelling with atmospheric and experimental Hip-Hop sounds. Titled Sheffield’s first poet laureate in 2018, Otis has worked and toured with heavyweights such as Benjamin Zephaniah, KOTA the Friend, Open Mike Eagle, Mahalia and Blu & Exile.

Troglodyte Jazz is part of the second season of #OtisMensahExists, a creative series blending together surrealist animation and introspective music. Thoughtful and oozing with a smooth charm, Troglodyte Jazz combines luxurious jazz horns and delicate piano chords over Otis’ inward looking lyricism.
