British-Iranian producer, songwriter and vocalist Orchid is a pop idol in the making. With a love for the artform that borders on reverence, she is releasing her new single ‘Doe Eyes’, a UKG influenced Y2K pop banger and self-professed “fuckgirl anthem”.

Orchid’s take on alternative electronic pop is defiantly future facing; with raw physicality and dynamic movement at the centre of all her music. Orchid delights in subverting expectations, and ‘Doe Eyes’ sees her teasing a foolish lover for catching feelings when they were explicitly warned not to.

Orchid is inspired by Persian sensibilities of beauty, poetry, and deep connection to nature. Her musical and rhythmic influences are also guided by time spent in Ghana and Brazil, and a life-long love of Latin American music styles such as samba, reggaeton and baile funk which find their place in her complex-yet-perfectly-formed musical vision.
