Enji - An Untitled Hill (Single)

Mongolian singer Enji releases her new single ‘An Untitled Hill’ via German label Squama Recordings. Beginning with her voice, and a gently plucked guitar, ‘An Untitled Hill’ meanders gracefully around jazz-tinged chords being plucked then strummed, leaving enough space for the song to soar as a saxophone joins the fray.

On her second album, ‘Ursgal’, Enji introduces a unique blend of Jazz and Folk to the thousand-year-old traditions of Mongolian music. Currently based in Munich, where she met her label Squama, her lyrics tell personal stories about unbearable distances, the oddness of being on earth and the simple truths in life.
