Enji - Ursgal (Album)

Mongolian singer Enji is releasing her new album ‘Ursgal’ today via German label Squama Recordings. Built around her voice and a gently plucked guitar, the album meanders gracefully around jazz-tinged chords, leaving enough space in the songs for Enji to explore.

On her second album, ‘Ursgal’, Enji introduces a unique blend of Jazz and Folk to the thousand-year-old traditions of Mongolian music. Currently based in Munich, where she met her label Squama, her lyrics tell personal stories about unbearable distances, the oddness of being on earth and the simple truths in life.
