B-ahwe - Circles (Single)

Following the stunning single ‘Bewitched’, B-ahwe reveals her new track ‘Circles’ and announces her forthcoming EP ‘Motions’, supported by Help Musicians UK’s ‘Do It Differently’ fund, out 17th September.

‘Circles’ leans into B-ahwe’s alternative hip-hop and R&B influences. Produced by TAMBALA, the track showcases her vocal versatility, effortlessly floating between rapped vocals and her trademark ethereal melodies. Having to adjust to recording remotely in a pandemic, the track came together by Tambala sampling takes from B-ahwe’s band and layering them with her vocals. ‘Circles’ will definitely appeal to the audience that has enjoyed B-ahwe’s work with underground UK hip-hop acts Lausse the Cat and Nix Northwest.

“I used themes of time and the changing of seasons to address issues surrounding mental health.” B-ahwe explains “The isolation we’ve been through during the pandemic has provided a bit too much time for introspection; I hope this song reaches people to let them know that they’ve not been alone in that.”
