SOFY will release her much anticipated debut single, ‘Strawberry Milkshake’.

The single was first picked up by BBC Introducing in April, with the early demo of the song receiving airtime on radio stations up and down the country - including several plays on BBC Radio 1. SOFY was quickly recognised in the BBC Live Lounge talent search as one of the UK’s most promising new artists, and garnered huge plaudits from top tastemakers such as Jess Iszatt, Gemma Bradley, and Clara Amfo.

In SOFY’s words, “‘Strawberry Milkshake’ was built around the concept of how important it is to just follow your gut and not overthink things when it comes to relationships. It’s essentially about saying fuck what people think, embracing your differences and just enjoying the ride even if nobody else gets it.” The single is the first exciting instalment to SOFY’s debut EP set for release at the start of next year.
