Dominica-based singer-songwriter Navy kicks off 2022 with a groove rich, Caribbean-pop track 'Love Life'. Irresistibly catchy from first listen, the afro-Caribbean inspired record finds her exploring themes of manifestation, success and “Higher Highs”. Navy once again showcases her lyrical prowess declaring that ‘Love Life’ is the start of “The beginning of the beginning, of them bright and better days.” She also perfectly juggles between a rap, bar-heavy vocal delivery in the verses before transitioning into a smooth and catchy chorus section where she opens up about wanting to “Make love to the finer times.” Directed by head of Pretty Boy Worldwide, Trevor Pretty, the release of ‘Love Life’ features stunning visuals filmed in Dominica. The video displays a stunning insight into Navy’s Caribbean roots and life on the island, a theme found throughout her music.

When asked about the new single and accompanying music video, Navy described that “This song is a love letter to LIFE, it celebrates the joy of being able to experience life itself, it dares you to forget about any negative blocks you may have encountered. The music video is a love letter to Dominica, my land of birth, the country that shaped me to be the person I am today. Going home to shoot the visuals was definitely a full circle moment.”
