ZZ The Pharaoh drops his second studio album ‘Love From Roberto x’ on all major streaming platforms. An introspective 20 track album a year in the making following up from his debut album The Conception Drive (2021) and most recent mixtape release I Trust It Arrives (2022).

ZZ’s second studio album shows a different side to his extroverted persona. Promising a collection of moody R&B, mellow trap and punchy 808’s to empower songs of his quest for, battle’s with and passion for love. Accompanied by humorous skits and an interlude which makes it feel like we’re taken on a journey with him and his mindset post 2021.

The 20 tracks are consistent and intimate, giving the listener an up close and personal understanding of ZZ not only as an artist but as a person. His harmonies and lyrics give the strongest feel for his passion we have to date. With his real name being ‘Roberto’ being of Nigerian and Italian descent, the album also gives the impression of a love letter or a diary, with back and forth conversations with him and his love interests dictated through song selection and his content, an account of a recent trip to Heidelberg, Germany in June where he finished his album and a long awaited and powerfully delivered message for his best friend who sadly passed in 2021, also of whom his last album ‘The Conception Drive’ was dedicated to. The front cover was taken on a trip to Sardinia in 2021. He explains, is a metaphor for him happily taking care of who he is with and also a metaphor for ‘cooking up in the studio’ frequently.
