Arlissa - Games (Single)

LA-based, German-British Pop singer-songwriter Arlissa is coming into her own with the announcement of her forthcoming debut album The OPEN-HEARTED - her first full-length project since going independent. She welcomes in the new year with the release of her sixth single “Games” on January 20th.

“Games" was written by Arlissa when she was on the cusp of falling in love with someone, she had only intended on having a short fling with. Realising they were both playing with fire and knowing the circumstance of the relationship would likely lead to trouble but continuing to indulge anyway. Both get caught in the flames and end up burnt.

Arlissa delves into the story behind the single: “I wrote Games when I was on the cusp of falling in love with someone I had only intended on having a short fling with after my marriage. We were playing with fire because we knew the circumstances of our relationship would only lead to trouble but we continued to indulge anyway. We got caught in the flames and both ended up burnt. But at least I got a great song out of it.”

Produced by Ebenezer (Stefflon Don, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign) “Games" is a funky, upbeat and cool pop anthem, which from the get-go is geared towards the dance floor. The release of “Games” culminates into the long-awaited debut album The OPEN-HEARTED, which is set to establish her as the powerhouse singer/songwriter and artist she was always placed here to be.
