B-ahwe - 26% MIXTAPE (EP)

Alternative South London-based singer-songwriter B-ahwe drops her highly anticipated 8-track project, '26% MIXTAPE', including the new single 'Patience' featuring Wolverhampton rapper NeONE the Wonderer. Produced by Lorenz Okello Osengor (ELIZA, Steam Down), 'Patience' highlights the quality of both artists lyricism, exploring the pressures which prevent our growth and the realisation that without patience and kindness to yourself, you can't move forward.

Following a run of singles throughout the summer, B-ahwe is sharing her most honest and vulnerable body of work to date, confronting issues of societal pressure, mental health, relationships, femininity, patience, joy and growth. '26% MIXTAPE' is a tender project highlighting the transformative potential of the journey. B-ahwe has once again shown versatility in successfully fusing elements of R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Drum & Bass, offering a project that will evoke many emotions. Speaking on the ‘26% MIXTAPE’ B-ahwe said: “Age is a percentage. That’s the best way I can try to summarise the tape. That’s not to say we reach 100 and explode, It’s more about seeing our endless capacity for growth. When we allow ourselves some kindness and patience, and move away from the societal lens that taught us we must fit in certain boxes at certain ages. Really we’re limitless. We’re always Still Growing, in whatever form or direction feels right to us individually. The tape begins with ‘Take time, a little to reload’, and I hope it can inspire someone to do that.”
