Rapper Yungmorpheus has announced his forthcoming album, From Whence It Came.  Out 28th April on Lex Records, the record features Jimetta Rose, Fly Anakin, MED, Ahwlee, lojii, Mary Lattimore and others.

Alongside the news, 'Morpheus shares lead single Layman's Terms, a refreshing slice of laid-back, jazzy hip-hop.  The track is accompanied by a two-part Jackie Radinsky-directed video which opens with an early preview of breakneck album cut Heavy Bags before switching in to Layman's Terms.

Yungmorpheus has been making waves in underground hip-hop circles thanks to his blunted, free-flowing delivery, humour and ability to blend socio-political issues with personal stories.  The Florida-raised, LA-based artist takes his name from Laurence Fishburne's character Morpheus in The Matrix, and his previous collaborators include Pink Siifu, Eyedress and Moor Mother.
