Cero Ismael - Runaway Love (Single)

Cero Ismael announces his forthcoming EP Eureka alongside new single “Runaway Love”. Following his latest double offering “Love For You” featuring Elijah Waters and “Vern” and earlier track “WY”, this latest release lush with delicate keys and soft, harmonic vocal reverb that sees Cero Ismael team up with fellow Dutch artist Lutwen showcases his vocals where they take centre stage.

Where previous EPs including his debut Blue Man and follow up AS MUCH AS YOU DID BEFORE were dark projects exploring love and himself, reflecting his own state and mental health at the time, this latest of body of work sees Cero Ismael emerge into a more hopeful mindsight exploring topics that matter to him but that give him a good feeling – the tougher side to his vulnerability, his friends in his life and his for the first time, his son. For those of his fans and listeners who have been there since the beginning, we are taken on this journey with him where he has slowly unfolded more of his story. On the 8-track Eureka  EP, through his illustrious lyricism and unique voice,  Cero shows us the light at the end of the tunnel. Where there is a broken heart and depression, there is still a happy ending and beauty in the world to enjoy.

Speaking on the track, Cero says:‘Runaway Love’ is a very special song to me. I started working with Ferdous on the song early 2022. Around that time I also started working with Luwten on music and I really wanted to have her on this song. Her vocals fit so beautifully on the song. The song almost feels like a mantra. I have never had a song where I just sang one thing through the whole song.
